October 14th - Salzburg

October 14th
Today we went to Salzburg to see places where they filmed some of the Sound of Music. My mum has been in love with the Sound of Music since she was a little girl so this was an amazing experience for her. The town of Salzburg was also the place where Mozart was born. One fact we found out about him was that his full name was Wolfgang Mozart. We went through some little lane ways full of interesting shops. It was amazing seeing the different shops and what they sell. We went to see the different spots were they filmed the sound of music. Mum found it amazing but for us it wasn’t that interesting because we couldn’t remember the different scenes. We went into a shop full of eggs painted in different colours and styles it was amazing to see how many there were. Mum and I bought some and hopefully they will make the trip back. It was interesting to see just how many people smoke here. It’s not like Australia where smoking is considered bad. Here it is normal. We went and got dinner which was lovely. It was chicken and chips which doesn’t sound great but it was after just having toast on many nights. We had a great night sleep.

  1. Hi Milly, Your travels are looking amazing and you look like you're having a wonderful time. The pictures are making me so jealous they're just jaw dropping.

Everything is good in australia we had a 7 hour lockdown on Thursday at school due to fires and didn't go to school today (friday). The main fires are in Springwood and Winmalee. Really missing you and hope to speak soon.:) Molly
