November 29th to Dec 1st - Perigord

29 of November
Today we had to clean the house quickly and get out by ten. We got out and went to Amboise again where we had hot chocolate again while writing post cards to people.  We then drove straight to our next stop in the Perigord region. We had a quick stop just to get shopping supplies for dinner. When we arrived we were met by a beautiful dog named Zac. He was very friendly like sally. It was nice to get inside and sit down next to a fire. It was very cosy and warm. We had dinner and went to bed for a good sleep.

Today we woke up and dad and I made the fire. It was nice to sit next to a fire and have hot croissants. We then   got ready and drove to a town called Sarlat. It had some markets on. They were lovely markets with some very weird shops. The houses were beautiful and old. We then went to another town called Montfort. It was very pretty and looked newly done. We went down by the river and saw how strong the current because there were some swans in the water.  We then drove to Domme which is a town up on a hill. It was like a ghost town because there was no one there. Apart from a book shop open nothing was open and no one was out. So we left that town and drove to La Roque Gagaec where just mum, dad and I got out. The town looked like it was built into the cliff. It was very interesting to walk through because there was no where to take your car you would have to walk to you house. We then went home for a nice quiet evening by the fire.

Today we had a really quiet day. Dad went out to take photos and we stayed home and blogged. We got up to date on our blogs and then we went outside to play. We got out some deck chairs out and lay in the sun. For the first day of winter it wasn’t very cold. The sun was out and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. After playing with a ball and have some trouble with the deck chairs. We went back inside and had a slow rest of the day.
